The Associate Science Degree is the way to go. OK, you've decided you want to follow through on that promise you made to yourself when you enlisted, to get a degree before leaving the Coast Guard.

When you receive your A.S. from Vincennes University, you can check the college graduate box on job applications instead of checking other and only listing some undergrad credits on the line that follows it.

With some good planning, you can move right into your bachelor's program after finishing your associate's degree and not have to take more than the number of credits it requires. [TraCen Cape May Education Update #190]

The mission of the COAST GUARD COMMUNITY COLLEGE is to serve and graduate students. Since the beginning of our military education programs through VINCENNES UNIVERSITY of Indiana in 2003, 93.7% of registered students have completed their graduation tracks and received their diplomas.

Master Chief James Bankson [Ret.] was one of the most celebrated Surfmen. He commanded several USCG motor lifeboat station and once remarked, I have signed so many tuition assistance forms and seen so much money wasted. I can not say that about Vincennes...You graduate people!
