CWO2 MICHAEL MAHONEY began his Vincennes University instruction in the fall of 2003. He was the first student registered in the newly formed Coast Guard Community College. He graduated with highest honors from Vincennes. He has been selected as the OUTSTANDING RECENT ALUMNI AWARD FROM VINCENNES 1998-2008. He will be honored at homecoming activities on campus at Vincennes in October.
Mike went on to finish his B.A. in Leadership from Ft. Hays State University @ Ft. Hays, Kansas graduating in December 2007 with highest honors. He is now working on his Master's Degree in History at California State University Dominguez Hills. He plans on completing his Ph. D. before he retires from Coast Guard Duty. He is presently attached to Law Enforcement USCG District 13.
