HS3 RADOSLAW FLORCZAK NORTH BEND OR

RADOSLAW FLORCZAK CAME FROM POLAND AND ENLISTED IN THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD.
HE WANTED TO DEVELOP A CAREER IN MEDICINE. HIS JOB WITH THE COAST GUARD IS WITH THE HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION AT USCG AIR STATION NORTH BEND OREGON.
WHEN HE FOUND OUT THAT WE HAD A PROGRAM OF STUDY AT USCG STATION UMPQUA RIVER [45 MINUTES NORTH OF COOS BAY, OREGON], HE CONTACTED US AND WE INCLUDED HIM IN THOSE CLASSES. RADOSLAW DROVE TO CLASS TWICE A WEEK AND MAINTAINED HIS PRESENCE IN ALL OF THE CLASSES THAT WE OFFERED AT UMPQUA RIVER.
WHEN UMPQUA RIVER GRADUATED THEIR CLASS LAST SUMMER, RADOSLAW CONTINUED ON HIS OWN AT NORTH BEND POLISHING OFF PHYSICS, MATH, SPEECH, AND LITERATURE. HE USED TO MAKE THE JOURNEY TO NEWPORT TO WORK ON HIS PHYSICS LAB SKILLS.
HE WAS PRESENTED WITH A CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATION TODAY AT STATION YAQUINA BAY IN NEWPORT. HE MADE THE TWO HOUR DRIVE NORTH FOR THE CEREMONY. HE GRADUATED SUMMA CUM LAUDE.
HE IS NOW ENROLLED IN THE B.A. DEGREE PROGRAM AT COLORADO TECHNICAL COLLEGE AND IS BEGINNING WORK ON A DEGREE IN HEALTH ADMINISTRATION. HE HAS PLANS TO CONTINUE IN THE HEALTH SERVICES COMMUNITY.
ANOTHER SUCCESS STORY. HIS ENTIRE FAMILY AND ALL RELATIVES ARE IN POLAND. HE VISITS THEM TWICE A YEAR.
